Parents want to keep Howard Stern far away from America’s Got Talent

Howard Stern recently announced that he will be taking Piers Morgan’s place on the NBC hit reality show “America’s Got Talent”– and the mommas and the poppas are none too happy about this news.
The Parents Television Council released a statement today calling NBC’s decision to hire Stern “an act of desperation” and that the radio personality “is synonymous with shock, profanity and obscenity.”
And just to make sure they get in one last dig at the “Private Parts” star, the statement concludes: “The once-proud broadcast network has lost its way and has made it clear it holds no concern whatsoever for children and families.”
Oh snap! Hide yo’ kids, hide yo’ wife, and hide yo’ obscene programming, cuz Howard Stern is gonna be judgin’ errbody’s talent out there.

I am in agreement with you. Groucho Marx my comedic hero said it best. “Any comic whom must use obscenities for a cheap laugh, isn’t really a comic”. Great comics & real shock jocks are supposed to make you use your intellectuality , to make people think. To have people acknowledge the absurdities of anti- semitism, racism,& everyday’s life nuances. Jackie Gleason, Sid Casaer, Aaron Braunstein, Ernie Kovacs, Zero Mostel, even Woody Allen never revert to foul language. Check nyshockjock.com.
